Refunds

This site does not take payment. Refunds apply only to seats invoiced and paid offline to Dataagentgrid. Prices on the site are informational.

Eligibility

You may request a refund if we cancel a cohort, if we materially change dates without offering a transfer, or if you withdraw in writing before the stated cut-off for that programme. Cooling-off rights under Thai consumer law, where they apply to distance contracts, are honoured.

Timeframe

For Signal Desk and Alignment Atelier: full refund if you withdraw at least 14 days before the first live session. Between 13 days and 48 hours before start: 50% refund. After the first session begins: no refund of the tuition portion, except where we cancel or where mandatory law requires otherwise.

Field Notes: full refund within 7 days of delivery of materials if you have not downloaded the Atlas PDF. After download, Field Notes is non-refundable.

Continuum Seat: unused quarter prepaid may be refunded pro rata if cancelled at least 10 days before the quarter starts. Mid-quarter cancellations are not refunded.

Full versus partial

Full refunds return the tuition you paid for that seat, minus any non-refundable items listed below. Partial refunds follow the percentages above. If only one person in an Atelier group withdraws, we refund that person’s share only if the remaining group still meets the minimum of two, or we convert the booking to Signal Desk seats by written agreement.

Non-refundable items

Bank transfer fees charged by your bank. Printed materials already shipped. Guest-speaker evening tickets sold separately. Third-party invigilation or coworking room fees if you asked us to book them on your behalf.

Process

Email info@dataagentgrid.digital with the invoice number, seat type, and reason. We confirm receipt within two working days and decide within ten working days. Approved refunds are returned by the original bank-transfer route unless we agree another Thai-baht method in writing.

Processing time

Once approved, expect the funds to leave our account within 15 working days. Your bank may take additional time to post the credit.

Refund method

Thai baht bank transfer to the account that paid the invoice. We do not refund in cash at the Samphanthawong studio. We do not refund onto cards we never charged, because this website never charged a card.

Cancellation by the studio

If we cancel a cohort, you choose a full refund or a transfer to a later date. If an instructor is ill and we substitute another grid steward, that is not a cancellation.

Exceptions

We may refuse a refund where materials were shared in violation of the terms, where a dump of another team’s data was leaked from your account, or where payment itself failed to clear. Statutory rights under Thai law remain available where they cannot be waived.
